The Cumbayá Valley is located a few kilometres from the city of Quito. Its proximity to the Ecuadorian capital has made it a residential and business development city. It is also very close to the Mariscal Sucre Airport and to important rural areas such as Tumbaco and Puembo.

Among its main attractions we can mention: Parque de Cumbayá, a place surrounded by restaurants that offer national and international cuisine; the route of the Chaquiñán, ideal to run, walk or ride a bike; and their shopping centers, for family walks, shopping, cinema or children's attractions.

SEK-Los Valles International School is located in the neighborhood of San Juan de Cumbayá within an area of more than six hectares, with green surroundings, multipurpose sports courts, a sports center, a football field and a swimming pool, sports areas that will be the scenarios of the Games of the InterSEK 2019.
